The CT521-at7-ext wireless traffic generator is an excellent entry-level platform for testing Access Points and other WiFi networks.
Each CT521-at7-ext includes three single-band, or one tri-band tri-concurrent MTK7996 WiFi-7 4x4 2.4/5/6GHz radios. Systems may be clustered together for increased client number and capabilities, and also support packet capture and emulated Access Points.

- GUI runs as Java application on Linux, MAC, and Microsoft operating systems (among others)
- GUI can run remotely, even of low-bandwidth links.
- Includes built-in scripting for iterating through rates and packet sizes, with automated reporting. Also supports a scriptable CLI (telnet) which can be used to automate test scenarios. Perl libraries and example scripts are provided!
