LANforge RF Noise Generator and RADAR Simulator

RADAR pulse simulator and non-modulated RF noise generator. Supports 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. Configurables include: RADAR Type This specifies the RADAR type or OFDM for modulated and unmodulated RF signal.
Pulse Width This specifies the duration (in microseconds) for the transmitter to be enabled. The user may type in a specific value, and the LANforge GUI has pre-set values in drop-down menus for common FCC, ETSI, Japan W53, Korea, and China. The current hardware supports a minimum pulse width size of 0.5μs.
Pulse Count This specifies how many pulses to generate. For FCC and W56 this is the number of bursts in 12 seconds. For W53, this is the continuous-pairs-of-pulses. The user may type in a specific value, and the LANforge GUI has pre-set values in drop-down menus for common FCC, ETSI, Japan W53, Korea, and China RADAR patterns. Pulse Interval This specifies the time (in microseconds) between starting to generate a pulse. This is also known as "Pulse Repetition Interval" (PRI). The user may type in a specific value, and the LANforge GUI has pre-set values in drop-down menus for common FCC, ETSI, Japan W53, Korea, and China RADAR patterns.
Pulse Repetition Frequency 1, 2, 3 This specifies how many pulses to generate before pausing for "sweep time." If you want to pulse continuously, set Sweep Time to zero. This is also known as "Pulses Per Burst" (PPB). The user may type in a specific value, and the LANforge GUI has pre-set values in drop-down menus for common FCC and ETSI RADAR patterns.
Sweep Time This specifies how long to pause (in microseconds) between pulse bursts. This emulates RADAR sweep time. Set this value to zero for continuous pulsing.
Frequency Select the frequency on which to generate the RF signal.
One Burst Generate a single pulse burst and then stop. This allows manual testing with pauses to verify the device under test detected the RADAR properly.
OFDM Modulation OFDM Modulation to allow for BPSK and QPSK modulation. The header and payload need to be at the same modulation.
Sample Rate Sample rate is the transmitted MHz.
